We all should know that
from nothing else but from the brain come joys, delights, laughter and sports.
And from the brain come sorrows, grief, despondency, and lamentations. From the
brain only, we see, hear and know what are foul and what are fair, what are bad
and what are good, what are sweet and what are unsavory. And by the same organ
we become mad and delirious. By the same organ, fears and terrors assail us.
All these things we endure from the brain when it is not healthy. In these ways
I am of the opinion that the brain exercises the greatest power in the man. "A man is what he thinks about all day long." - Ralph Waldo
Emerson. An idea not coupled with action will never get any bigger than the
brain cell it occupies. Arnold H. Glasow. Hence our brain plays an important
role in thoughts, actions and deeds.
Without a strong leader, the whole machine is out of whack. But it is pretty simple if the brain is working, the body will listen. Our limbs want to hold us up. Our lungs want to breathe. Our hearts want to beat. But none of them are any good without the brain. The brain keeps everything all together like a boss. The brain performs complex and intricate operations, far beyond the capabilities of the most advanced computer. Without it, our body cannot function. Hence the Title of my blog "Brain Power".

A sound brain produces
sound mind and sound thoughts, and these sound thoughts will certainly help in
changing the world and maintaining peace. The mind is a powerful force. It can
enslave us or empower us. It can plunge us into the depths of misery or take us
to the heights of ecstasy. Hence we have to learn to use the power wisely.
There are two distinct parts of human thought. One part is the brain, and the other part is the inner mind. Both parts work together to help shape our view of reality. The mind plays an important role in achieving every kind of success and goal. Mind power is the second strongest power next to the spirit. The thoughts that pass through our mind are responsible for everything that happens in our life. It is said that good mind good find. Please do remember, “It is better to be poor materially than to be poor in thought and thinking.”
The brain is the most powerful organ humans possess. Although we all have a hugely powerful potential offered by our brain, we spend very little practicing our thinking skills. We believe that thinking is either a natural function or believe that the great thinkers among us are gifted. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Everyone has the ability to use this under-used potential.
The facts about the brain are truly stupendous. No human being has yet existed who has been able to use all the potential of the brain.
Summary
of our brain’s key points:-
1. The human brain is so
powerful that few of us come anywhere near to using it as well as we could.
2. Every person has the
ability to think intelligently and creatively.
3. The brain is the source
of key mental faculties such as memory, imagination, creativity and innovation.
4. The brain is the key
tool for mastering the modern information age.
5. Everyone in a modern
organization is a knowledge worker to some extent.
6. According to research,
half the skills needed by successful workers involve the use of thinking skills.
